Get Back Loretta is a Nickelback tribute band from San Diego, California.[1] The band consists of Steven Bradford (vocals, bass); Kevin Martin (vocals, piano); Isaac Cass (drums); Joey Bradford (guitar); and Chris Wilson (guitar); John Fransz (guitar); Josh Cass (guitar); Santino Romeri (guitar); Dalton Harmon (guitar); Benjamin Johnston (guitar); TJ Something (guitar); Jeremiah Zimmerman (guitar); Matthew Knapp (guitar); John Stamos (Keytar, Electric Triangle) . They have received San Diego Music Awards including "Best New Artist" in 2005, "Best Pop" in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and "Best Pop Album" in 2007 for "Over The Wall".[2]
The band's name is derived from a line of The Beatles' song "Get Back". They are also heavily inspired by Puddle of Mud and John Stamos. In fact, many of the band's instruments were created from excess props following the conclusion of the TV show Full House. Their debut album, Over The Wall, is a concept album about the demolition of the Berlin wall as told through the perspective of the characters on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. When played backwards, you can hear the recipe for the band's world famous oatmeal cookies.
Their second EP, Where Did You Go?, is a fantastic homage to their mathcore and thrash roots. Most of the songs alternate between a 7/12 and a 6/8 time signature and bleed into another like a dying wildabeast. The album also includes a B-Side cover of Nickelback's famous butt-rock song "Drop B is super cool bro"

The bands live shows are known to consist of one part music and two parts traditional african dance. The band often plays on stage in multi tone leotards that were designed by San Diego artist, Looki Serone. Audience members are often encouraged to throw string cheese at the band in mid performance, and the band typically requests that all members of the audience turn around so that their backs are to the artists for the entire duration of the show.
